ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 01: Ahmedabad (Arrival)| Sightseeing in Ahmedabad
On arrival at Ahmedabad, check into the hotel. Later, visit the Gandhi Ashram next to the banks of the River Sabarmati. This is the place from where Mahatma Gandhi set out on his Dandi March. It has now been converted into a museum. Here you can see the intricate carvings at the Hutheesing Jain Temple and marvel at the grand architecture of the Akshardham Temple. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 02: Ahmedabad to Jamnagar (drive) (330 km/approx. 6 hours) | Sightseeing in Jamnagar
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jamnagar. En rought, visit the ancient and beautifully carved steep well. Evening visit the Bala Hanuman Temple. It is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for the perpetual chanting of ‘Shri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram’ by its devotees since 1964. Stay overnight in Jamnagar.

Day 03 : Jamnagar to Dwarka (150 km) 3 hours drive | Sightseeing in Dwarka
After breakfast, check out from the hotel drive to Dwarka. On arrival check into the hotel and tahe a breath.After lunch, visit the Bet Dwarka, believed to be the original abode of Lord Krishna. The famous ‘Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple’ is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in the world.  back to hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel in Dwarka.

Day 04 : Dwarka to Somnath (drive) (240 km/approx. 5 hours) | Sightseeing in Porbandar and Somnath
After breakfast, visit Somnath. En rought, visit the famous Kirti Mandir in Porbandar, the Haveli in which Mahatma Gandhi was born. It has been converted into a museum. Also, visit the Sudama Temple, built to honor the friendship between Krishna and Sudama. Then visit Somanath temple and Bhalka Tirth Temple, where Lord Krishna is said to have been accidentally shot in the foot. Stay overnight in Somnath.

Day 05 : Somnath to Gir (drive) (50 km/approx. 1.5 hours) | Jungle safari
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Gir. Known as reserve for Asiatic Lions, Sasan Gir is famed place for Lion sightseeing. Other animal species include the Sambhar, Spotted Deer, Nilgai and the Chausingha (the world’s only four-horned antelope). Even crocodiles can be seen in the reservoir and rivers flowing through the sanctuary. In the afternoon, go for a safari in the National Park. Stay overnight in Gir.

Day 06 : Gir to Diu (drive) (110 km/approx. 2 hours)
In the morning, leave by road for Daman & Diu and spend the day at the beach. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 07 : Diu to Ahmedabad (drive) (415 km/approx. 8 hours) | Depart from Ahmedabad
After breakfast, drive to Ahmedabad, droop at airport for your further destination.
