ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 01: Arrive in Mumbai
On arrival at Mumbai International Airport, a warmed welcome by Empire India representative you will be assisted to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Mumbai – Rajkot – Gir National Park
After breakfast drive to airport, board a flight to Rajkot. Reaching Rajkot, hit the road to Gir National Park, On arrival, check-in at your jungle lodge. afternoon is scheduled for jeep safari into the park, accompanied by a naturalist. Overnight in Gir.

Day 03-04: Gir
Days 3 and day 4 go on wild safaris in the national park. During the safaris, you spot animal species such as Four-horned Antelope, Sambar, Wild Boar, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara etc. The national park also boasts of housing as many as 250 species of birds including peregrine falcon, Pallas’s fish eagle, Eurasian griffon vulture, Indian white-backed vulture, white-eyed buzzard as well as endangered ones like Saras crane. Enjoy dinner around bonfire. Treat your eyes to the surrounding lush greenery.

Day 05: Gir – Gondal
After breakfast, depart for Gondal by road. It is an erstwhile princely town. On arrival, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Later, leave for exploring the popular attractions of Gondal including the Naulakha Palace Museum-housing a collection of royal artifacts, Swaminarayan temple – erected by Shastriji Maharaj and the Ayurvedic pharmacy. Later, leave for a tour of the Maharaja’s private grasslands where you can spot Blackbuck and blue bulls roaming freely and later the town’s the bird-rich lakes. Overnight stay.

Day 06: Gondal – Dasada
After breakfast,drive towards Dasada, known as the gateway to the Little Rann of Kutch, also known as Or Dhangadhra Sanctuary, a well-known wildlife reserve of the western part of the country. On arriving, check-in at your pre-booked resort. In the evening, enjoy a jeep game safari inside the national park, accompanied by a local guide. Stay overnight in the resort.

Day 07: Rann of Kutch, Dasada
Today  game safari into the national park. During the safari, you spot animal species such as Indian antelope, blue bull, desert cats, cobra, Indian rat snake, hares, Indian fox, desert fox, hyenas, jackals, etc. The reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, because of its varied biosphere. Overnight in the resort.

Day 08: Dasada – Ahmedabad
After breakfast, proceed to Ahmedabad, popular as Manchester of the East’. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. You can interact with the locals, visit the well-known tourist attractions, taste the local renditions etc. Stay overnight

Day 09: Ahmedabad –Mumbai-Departure
Today is the last day of the tour when you get transferred to the airport to board a flight to Mumbai from where you board a flight to your onward destination.
